Our Story

Nicole Jones, the heart and soul behind Cooking Too Perfection, was born and raised in the warm, soulful community of Mobile,  Alabama. Her journey has been deeply influenced by three pillars: family, food, and faith. Nicole is the proud daughter of Regenia Johnson and the late Judge Johnson, and she shares a close bond with her siblings: Nicosha Battiste, Jasminee Jones, Olivia Johnson, Judge Johnson, and Shawn Lowery. Growing up in a family full of love and rich traditions, Nicole developed a passion for cooking early on. Her faith, nurtured at Theodore Church of God in Christ, has been her guiding light, inspiring her to view cooking not just as a skill but as a ministry—an opportunity to feed the soul and bring people together around a table of joy.

As a devoted wife to Derrick Brown and mother to three wonderful children daughters 16-year-old  Symoria and 3-year-old D’Naija Brown, and her 11-year-old son Jayden Clemons—Nicole’s life is full of blessings and busyness. Even in her role as a Certified Nurse Assistant at USA Hospital, she carries her nurturing spirit into everything she does. In her spare time, she writes heartfelt poetry and occasionally sings, but her true passion lies in cooking. It's her way of expressing love, celebrating her roots, and giving back to her community.

Nicole’s warmth and dedication shine through every dish she creates, making Cooking Too Perfection more than just a catering service—it’s a family dream come to life. By supporting Nicole and her small business, you’re not just savoring unforgettable flavors; you’re becoming part of a legacy built on love, faith, and the belief that food can uplift and inspire.
